Ludington Elementary School Opens, Consolidating three existing schools into one

HOLLAND, Michigan (August 27, 2022) –– GMB Architecture + Engineering, a 53-year-old firm of educational planners, architects and engineers, announces the completion and opening of Ludington Elementary School in West Michigan, in time to welcome students and educators from across the district for the new school year. Ludington Area Schools' three elementary buildings were over 50 years old and in need of significant, costly renovations.

SCUP 2022 Excellence Awards

The SCUP Excellence Awards honor achievement in strategic, integrated planning that results in exemplary buildings and grounds, institutional success, and careers that inspire. The award program is a juried competition open to professional service providers and institutions that have prepared designs or plans for two-year and four-year colleges, universities, academic medical and research centers, and public or private institutions.

The Citadel Military College Enlists Extron AV Solutions to Educate Business Majors at New Bastin Hall

Yuma School District Celebrate Completion of District-Wide Renovation

Fort Collins, CO - Yuma School District in northeast Colorado is pleased to celebrate the completion of its district-wide renovation project. Fort Collins-based design-build firm The Neenan Company led the architecture and construction for the district’s high school and pre-K – 8 school buildings. The project provides 85,000 square feet of modernized education space with enhanced safety and security, supporting the 900 pre-K - 12th grade students throughout Yuma School District. 

VLK Architects and PBTISD Break Ground on a New 2nd through 5th Grade Campus

(Pecos, Texas) – On May 18, 2022, VLK Architects joined Pecos-Barstow-Toyah ISD to break ground on the construction of a new elementary campus. This is the second elementary school VLK designed for the district as a part of the May 2021 bond. “VLK feels very fortunate for the partnership that we have established with Pecos-Barstow-Toyah ISD and their community as they break ground on their second elementary school,” said Monika Castillo, Principal of VLK Architects.
