Attend DIALOGUES 23, a two day unconference to help EDUCATION DESIGN practitioners go from where they are now, to where they can be, by bringing research insights and methodologies to the forefront for all types of LEARNING ENVIRONMENTS. Our intent is to host an interactive participatory and informal learning discussions coupled with research tool sharing and relationship building in an iconic architectural setting.
We have designed a program for talking about and sharing real-world models that can be applied to our collective work as architects, designers, educators, and researchers that bring meaningful results. Current practice-based capabilities got us here. But to go to the next level, to replicate and improve, we will need to utilize proven field tested tools – to open-up our mutual perspectives and mindsets.
This year’s place-based event will be held April 17 - 19 at Taliesin West, Frank Lloyd Wright’s winter home, and laboratory in Scottsdale, AZ. Wright often quoted Laotse who said: “The reality of a building does not consist in roofs and walls but in the space within to be lived in.” A true correlation to well-designed places of learning.
Together, at DIALOGUES 23 Learning By Design magazine and the Taliesin Institute will convene an intimate group of professionals to explore the design of learning environments in an iconic and inspiring natural setting located at the foothills of the McDowell Mountains, a 30 minute drive from Phoenix International Airport.
If this sounds like a program you wish to participate in, then please secure your spot ASAP by completing the DIALOGUES 23 Registration.
