LG Hausys Introduces New Colors to its HI-MACS® Aurora and Terrazzo Collections

LG Hausys’ HI-MACS solid surface is introducing 10 new colors across its Aurora and Terrazzo collections.  Aurora’s calming palette and Terrazzo’s nostalgic designs draw inspiration from nature to create a serene backdrop.

The new colors reflect the latest industry trends and provide versatile design options for corporate, education, healthcare and hospitality environments.

The Aurora Collection is inspired by Aurora Borealis (The Northern Lights) and embodies a low-contrast, organic swirling movement throughout its designs. Blanc is a white marble with subtle and soothing gray veining, while Pavia’s pristine soft-white offers elegance with translucent properties. Warm tones shine through Cream with subtle cream and taupe veining as Gray offers hints of sparkle on a warm gray marble for a lux feel. Sanremo is a tonal black marble with veining and large particulates inspired by the night sky.

Drawing inspiration from Europe and industrial concrete, the Terrazzo Collection offers a distinct look through the use of extra-large acrylic marbled chips, which add drama and dimension. Luna and Moderna offer warm light tonal designs with large acrylic marbled chips for depth. Classico mirrors Italy’s cobblestone streets with neutral and cream color chips. Venato and Grigio play with a concrete gray to reflect a modern and refined industrial design.

The Aurora and Terrazzo collections, like all HI-MACS colors, are available in 30” x 145” with ½” thickness.

“We are excited to share these new colors and in particular, our development of the extra-large acrylic marbled chips as a distinctive design element for the Terrazzo Collection,” shared Andrea Flint, product design manager for LG Hausys. “Coupled with the timeless and beautifully structured look of the Aurora Collection, all of the colors within these collections can meet a wide range of commercial applications. From hotel lobbies to corporate boardrooms, these colors set the trend for contract interior design today.”

With durability similar to that of natural stone, HI-MACS is manufactured to prevent against everyday wear and tear, and offers a high resistance to stains and chemicals. Manufactured as a seamless and non-porous material, HI-MACS contains no visible crevices or surface irregularities, thus preventing harmful bacteria or mold from appearing.
