(NEW YORK – November 12) ― DLR Group recently welcomed Senior Associate Sadie Maney as Higher Education Business Development Leader. Based in the New York studio, Maney will drive the firm’s strategic growth and client relationships within the Northeast region’s higher education sector.
With over a decade of AEC industry experience, she has steered organizations through leadership transitions, streamlined business development and marketing processes, and spearheaded expansions into new sectors and regions. She keenly understands universities’ needs surrounding student life, sustainability goals, and big-picture planning.
“Maney comes to DLR Group with a wide breadth of knowledge in the world of higher education,” said Senior Principal and Global Higher Education Leader Stu Rothenberger. “She’s a proven leader in maintaining positive and professional relationships with clients, and we look forward to seeing our portfolio grow under Maney’s careful stewardship.”
Maney will partner closely with Northeast Higher Education Leader Kaveri Singh to continue to grow DLR’s presence in the Northeast Higher Education market. Her entrepreneurial spirit is rooted in past successes such as founding Made Business, a business development and marketing firm grounded in the principles of emotional intelligence and consumer behavior. Her accolades include recognition as a 2020 “40 Under 40 Outstanding Woman in Construction,” a 2020 “New England Real Estate Journal One’s to Watch,” and a 2019 Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) “Rising Star.” In higher education, she has cultivated relationships with prestigious institutions, including Penn State University, Yale University, University of Pennsylvania, Swarthmore College, and Brown University.
