Read The Summer 2021 Edition of Learning By Design Magazine

June 1, 2021 (Cleveland, Ohio) Learning By Design magazine announces the publication of its June 2021 edition. Within readers will find numerous articles, case studies, and examples of new PK-12 and higher education facilities recently open from across North America.  A core feature of the June edition are the annual Winning Submittals to the Society for College and University Planning (SCUP) Excellence Awards. SCUP Excellence Award honors achievement in strategic, integrated planning that results in exemplary buildings and grounds, institutional success, and careers that inspire.

his award is a juried competition open to professional service providers and institutions that have prepared designs or plans for two-year and four-year colleges, universities, academic medical and research centers, and public or private institutions. Submittals for all eight categories must be made by a team including the institution and the planner, landscape architect, or architect professional(s). Each award winning project is showcased, including project photography, a descriptive narrative, plus important design highlights and jurors comments.
